How to Delete A Deposit in Quickbooks Desktop

Open QuickBooks desktop homepage.
Go to the Banking menu.
Select Check Register/Use Register.
Now, from the Select Account drop-down menu
Choose your bank account.
Again, go to the check register.
Find the deposit you want to delete
Select the deposit and click on the Edit menu.
Tap the Delete Deposit option.
Note: When you delete a deposit, you’ll see another option Void. but, there is a difference in both terms. When you delete, the entry is removed from QuickBooks completely. However, when you select void, the amount in the entry turns ZERO. But, it remains recorded in the QuickBooks.
If you wish to void a deposit:
Tap on the edit menu.
Then select the Void Deposit option.
After that, click the Save & Close button.
Then, click yes to confirm it.
How to Delete A Deposit in Quickbooks Online
